According to Vitruvius, architecture is the design of spaces that are safe, adequate for their function, comfortable, give people the pleasure of living, and evoke a sense of the sublime. Many people wonder whether artificial intelligence (AI) can change architecture. The answer is “yes”; changes are already happening as you read this article. Artificial intelligence will smartly enable architectures to open the gates to smart homes. It will significantly impact space planning, design, construction, and project management, reduce waste, integrate sustainable strategies, and help homes contribute to efficient, smarter cities

Artificial intelligence use has become widespread due to advancements in processing power, the availability of plenty of data, and the creation of new algorithms (Atalay & Celik, 2020). The integrative approach given by artificial intelligence to architectural problems can provide an extensive perspective. Artificial intelligence can be made use of in architecture in various design domains, including obtaining multiple proposals immediately, variations of existing designs swiftly, and developing environmentally conscious approaches.

Machine learning, a subfield of artificial intelligence, is a technical strategy with transformative potential in architecture and numerous other fields. Due to its ability to change, it has been a use in many vocations, including the estimation of energy savings (Banihashemi & Wang, 2017), prediction of the growth of city plans (Xia & Tong, 2020), and coming up with architectural aesthetic variations (Zhou & Park, 2021)

Remarkable contributions were accomplished by evolutionary algorithms to the realization of computational principles in architectural design. Generative algorithm approaches were used to find the most efficient solution. In architecture, these algorithms are used for parametric design optimization (Elbatran & Ismaeel, 2021), sustainable architectural approaches (Chatzikontantinou & Sariyildiz, 2021), and form finding (Yan et al., 2022).

The use of Chat GPT, An AI language model, is also gaining popularity in the field of architecture. Architects have been taking advantage of the capabilities of Chat GPT to generate the maximum amount of design ideas and their alternative solutions. This technology permits architects to input specific parameters and receive responses instantaneously supporting decision-making (Doe, 2022).

The interactive nature of Chat GPT enables architects to reiterate and refine their designs efficiently, ultimately enhancing the design workflow and promoting innovation in the field (Smith & Johnson, 2021).

In conclusion, using artificial intelligence in architecture has a very bright future and is able to transform the industry to a more modernized way. Generative design algorithms and interactive AI language models like Chat GPT are helping make up the design process and enabling architects to explore innovative designs.
